The 2016- 2017 SADC Company dance year will be a competition year. This will include 2 regional competitions (both in Overland Park, KS) and WE WILL BE GOING TO NATIONALS this year (KAR NATIONALS IN PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL). The nationals is a go, there will be no vote so please make arrangements starting now. IF you are not going to be able to attend please let the director know ASAP. Each Company member will be in TWO Company Large Group/Line Dances. The entry Fees for those two dances each will be listed below.

Regional Competitions:

Rainbow Dance:

April 7-9 Overland Park Convention Center

Entry fee for Company Dances: $60 PER dance PER dancer, due Feb 1, 2017

Kar Dance:

May 13-15 Overland Park Convention Center

Entry fee for Company Dances: $60 PER dance PER dancer, Due Feb 15th, 2007

*All other entry fees are usually due 30 days before the competition dates. Here is an example of what other entry fees but these fees are different with each competition.

Solo: $120-$160

Duets/Trios: $145-$155

Small, and Large Groups: $55- $60

Where to stay for regionals? The competition usually makes a special rate with a hotel nearby. The hotel info has yet to be released for either of these comps. Please look on the web for more info on this, but typically it is the Sheraton in Overland Park that gets the special rate and this will book up fast!! It is attached to the convention center and is VERY convenient for the dancer.

If you are interested in a GREAT opportunity for your dancer the KAR Dance Convention is a good place to start!! It is $95 dollars a day for a whole day of wonderful dance instruction!
